Rahul will not play in the first ODI after the corona attack in Team India
Team India suffered a major setback ahead of the one-day series against the West Indies starting on February 8. Four players of the Indian team, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Rituraj Gaikwad and Navdeep Saini were found to be coronary positive.
Co-captain KL Rahul will not play in the first ODI after the corona attack in Team India. Due to which Mayank Agarwal got a place in the team. In addition to him, the names of a few more people may be announced soon.
Following the announcement of the ODI series, the first match will not be played due to the sister’s marriage.
The BCCI tweeted that KL Rahul would not play in the first ODI and would join the team from the second match. After that it was speculated that he may have been rested for the first match, but this time the real reason has come to the fore.
According to a report by Espn Cricinfo, Rahul has taken a break from the first match due to his sister’s marriage and will join the Indian team in Ahmedabad on February 6. After that he will stay in isolation for 3 days and will play the second match on 9th February.
