NFL Draft 2022 live Draft is finally here, and it is set to be one of the most unpredictable drafts in decades. With no quarterback as a consensus No. 1 pick, the draft will keep fans on their toes throughout the evening, which teams playing chess as to which player will be taken at certain spots. Eight teams have multiple first-round picks, which will make the draft even more intriguing as teams look to trade up (or back) in the opening round.

Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson is the edge defender at the top of most forecast boards. So, if all goes as expected, look for the Jacksonville Jaguars (who are again the No. 1 pick after picking up Trevor Lawrence in 2021) to bring Hutchinson into the fold. But of course, another highly regarded player thinks he is “the chosen one”.
That’s Ahmad Gardner of Cincinnati, who is also more proof that this is a year of highly regarded defenders rising from the ranks of the university. NJ.com reports that Gardner said, “I feel like I’m the chosen one…I feel like I’m the best at design. There’s no question about it. There’s no way I can be a failure That shouldn’t even be an option.” Gardner’s confidence is not without reason, he never allowed a touchdown and in his 2021 season, he had to give up less than 10 yards per game. He may become a Texan (Houston has #3), or he may fall for the Jets

It’s no secret that the Giants are looking for offensive line help. It’s just a matter of whether they go for a tackle with the fifth overall roster or seventh.
The Giants are not guaranteed to tackle with the fifth overall pick. If the board falls like this, they can go with Derek Stingley — who would replace James Bradberry while he remains on the trade block — while still landing Evan Neal or Charles Cross at number 7.
The Giants seem to like Cross a lot, though, so they may not want to risk losing him. He only played left tackle at Mississippi State, but maybe they think he can play on the right side of the line too. Neal, who played left-tackle, right-tackle, and left guard in Alabama, will also qualify if available, but the Giants seem to like Cross a little better.
