But she’s gotten herself back on track and won back-to-fights over Raquel Pennington and Irene Aldana, respectively.
Standing in Holm’s way is Vieira. The Brazilian began her career 10-0, but has been on uneven footing as of late, going 2-2 in her last four. But her most recent outing was her biggest win to date, beating former bantamweight titlist and one of Women’s MMA’s biggest names, Miesha Tate.
The winner aligns themselves in a position to challenge the winner of the Julianna Pena-Amanda Nunes rematch that will occur sometime in the summer.

The joint headliner includes an explosive clash in the light heavyweight division between Santiago Ponzi Nibio and Michel Pereira.
Holm (14-5), who last competed in October 2020, was known for winning the belt in 2015 and knocking out Rhonda Rausi with a header to win the gold medal.
The 40-year-old American failed to regain the title when he challenged Amanda Nunes in 2019, nor did he manage to chase gold in the light heavyweight division twice.
Brazil’s Vieira, meanwhile, is aiming for his first UFC title shot, but has lost two in his last four matches and is recovering. But before this series of games, the 30-year-old had 10 consecutive victories.
