High school Football 2022 The Class 7A semifinals will be decided in a doubleheader. In the North, Hoover and Thompson meet in the semifinals for the sixth year in a row. The Bucs and Warriors have combined to win 6 of 8 Class 7A state titles. Auburn and Central-Phenix City are in the South for the fourth straight time. Hoover and Central both won regular-season meetings in 2022. The two winners will play Nov. 30 at Auburn to start the Super 7.

High school Football 2022 Los Alamitos has been one of the top high school football programs in California over the past three seasons, but the Griffins will face their toughest test in recent memory against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) on Friday. Both teams are ranked in the top 25 nationally in the MaxPreps high school football rankings, but the Monarchs hold the top spot in the nation, while Los Alamitos is No. No. 24 Mater Dei is looking to defend its state championship in the CIF Southern Section Football Playoffs, and a win Friday is all that stands between the Monarchs and another shot at the title.
