English FA Cup A total of 80 teams take part in the first round proper of the FA Cup in 2022-23. Among the teams contesting ties are Sheffield Wednesday, Derby County, Ipswich Town and Wrexham – who are now owned by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

English FA Cup BBC and ITV have the rights to broadcast the FA Cup in the UK.
In addition to broadcasting games on TV on network channels It is also possible to stream live matches over the Internet using BBC iPlayer or ITV Hub.
The BBC has the rights to livestream 18 matches of the FA Cup, while ITV has the rights to show 20 live matches.
ESPN owns the rights to broadcast the FA Cup in the United States. Most of the matches will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

The English FA Cup 2022-23 starts on 6 August 2022, qualifying rounds will begin on that date and run until 15 October.
November 4th was the first day of the first round where 48 teams joined the 32 winners of the qualifiers.
Premier League clubs and rival leagues enter the appropriate phase of the third round, which starts in January 2023.
The FA Cup Final 2022-23 is scheduled to be played on 3 June 2023 at Wembley Stadium.
